A couple of years ago Grose started experimenting with the sheep’s wool from her own small flock of rare breed and native sheep as a material in her work and has created a wide variety of textiles, from peg-loom rugs, sculpture, wall hangings and a modern take on traditional samplers to ‘living sheep’ or ‘vegetarian’ fleeces – a way of processing a fleece from a shorn sheep which creates a rug while the skin stays on the living sheep.

Examples of her wool work are available from The Upcycled Home  https://www.theupcycledhomeco.co.uk or contact the artist directly via the contact page.
